PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for inventory transactions of lubricant products. Provides recommendations on processes and procedures relating to inventory and internal control for locations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Completes inventory manufacturing and blending transactions by verifying jobs, changing ingredients/amounts in OMNIV2 and signing off on each job.

Completes product receiving documentation and pricing verification to purchase orders.

Provides warehouse management assistance to the Inventory and Production Manager for in stock location validity and inventory problems and reconciliation.

When necessary provides back-up order entry and customer service.

Assists customer service, supplies customers with order information including anticipated or expected delivery schedules and dates.

Oversees the preparation of management reports. Maintains a working knowledge of service levels, inventory and stock location accuracy, overall operations, and assists in identifying areas where improvement in increased productivity can be accomplished.

Supplies customers and GROWMARK personnel with information regarding warehouse inventory records, order status records, backorder files, and vendor purchase order files.

Assists in the Account System Support and Information Technology Groups to ensure system operations, are being coordinated for compatibility and meeting the needs of customer service and warehouse activities.

Assists in warehouse administration maintenance with product mapping, tracking, shrink controls, product labeling, and accuracy of warehouse procedures in coordination with the plant manager and/or Inventory & Purchasing Manager.

Assists in ordering and verification of price, quantity, extension, and coding for all payables related to product and related product items. Assist in ordering, proper usage of all packaging items, and determines the best value for meeting all packaging needs.

Assists in safety, environmental, and insurance compliance.

Assists in maintaining product labels in the label database.

Maintains physical inventory database(s) and cycle count spreadsheets for all locations. Inputs counts, inventory verification of those counts, communicating with warehouse location Managers and/or Inventory and Purchasing Manager. Makes adjustments based on input from Inventory and Purchasing Manager.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Provides the Inventory and Production Manager with daily updates on real or potential problem areas.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires an Associates Degree in Business, plus at least 2 years experience in warehouse operations to demonstrate warehouse customer service and leadership skills.

Understanding and experience with warehouse-related areas including warehousing & warehouse management systems, inventory management, order fulfillment, compliance, and safety training.

Proven professional communication, interpersonal, persuasion, and customer service skills.

Demonstrated planning, organization, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Proven computer skills and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes and warehouse operations.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
